These dolls were made and given to me by my friend, artist Lisa Fifield (Oneida.) Once a year we meet, put down the blanket, and trade our work. The horse was made for a child in the 1890's. The man is wearing a Ghost Dance Shirt. Ghost Dancers would move in a circle to the left, and some would fall from exhaustion. I arrived back at the ranch with the sun descending on the Big Horns to my west. On the back of my horse was tied a collection of antlers and under my arm was this sun bleached cow's skull.
